Looking good!

I weighed myself this morning and I was down to 161! I knew that I could get the first 5 off fast! I am so thrilled and that gives me so much motivation! I decided on soup today for lunch. But, I think that was a mistake. I couldn't even get in 3 miles while running. I felt lightheaded. Which, I figure is because I didn't eat enough. Tomorrow, I will try the peanut butter sandwich and see if that helps.
Tomorrow, I will be making cookies and candies for this weekend. I hope I can keep from taste testing! Well, maybe I will have just one! ;)
2.5 miles on treadmill
oatmeal for breakfast
cream of mushroom for lunch
planning on tortellini for supper with a spinach salad.

tuesday already!

I am feeling so good about my diet and my running! Things are looking good this week. Tonight we are having quiche. This is way better than what the husband suggested (a pizza buffet!).
I ran 3 miles today. I wanted to stop at 1.5, but I suffered through and felt good in mile 2! I really hope to get to 4 miles by the new year. I want to start training for a half marathon!
Tomorrow's plan:
oatmeal for breakfast
toast and peanut butter for lunch
grapefruit
tortellini and spinach for supper!

Snow!

I woke up to snow this morning. I got the kids bundled up and they headed out in the snow. There is not even an inch out there! ;)
I started the morning with a piece of banana bread and coffee. I went for a 2.5 mile run and had lunch! I just had some blueberries and kashi crackers. I really should have some protein. I might have some peanut butter in a little bit. I am not very hungry today.
I need to go to the grocery store today and finish the shopping I didn't get done the other day!

it's Sunday!

I am feeling pretty good other than an upset stomach this morning. I am sure it is from eating too many pretzels and walnuts last night. My foods have been great though! Yesterday I had two refried bean tacos with avocados, tomatoes, spinach, onions, sour cream, and salsa. It was so good!
Once my stomach settles today, I am going to run on the treadmill. I hope I have a good run. I have been dreading it so much, but I feel better when I am finished. I am prepared to make this week a very strict week. We have a Christmas party to go to on Saturday. I want to feel good by then!

Today is a better day

I do not plan on eating PERFECT, I just want to be healthier overall. Today, there were some unhealthy choices, but nothing too bad.
For breakfast, I had some organic maple sugar oatmeal and a tall glass of ice water. Afterward, I ran 2 miles. I still feel like I could do more. I might do some yoga tonight.
I went to a birthday party at Chuck e Cheeses. I had the salad bar and ate some birthday cake.
I have grocery shopping to do tonight. I stopped at Trader Joe's and picked up:

Pesto Tortellini
Gingerbread men
olive oil
fruit snacks
sunflower seeds
Tonight, I will be going to pick up some healthier things! ;)

New Year Resolutions

I have decided to start one of my resolutions early this year. I want to keep up with this blog the way I used to and to keep track on what I eat! I need to be more aware and lose my last 20 pounds AGAIN! I really hate that I have let it come back on, but we have had so many things going on. Now, I feel like I can focus on myself again.
So, beginning tomorrow, I will be keeping track better!
